Veterinary Technicians
Registered veterinary technician Rushawn joined the Woodland Springs Veterinary Hospital staff in 2007. She has worked in the animal care field for more than a decade and has helped care for animals all over the country. She joined the Army as an animal care specialist and spent a year in Washington D.C. working with primates before working at the Navy’s Marine Mammal Program in San Diego. She also worked at Black Beauty Ranch in East Texas and Chimp Haven in Shreveport, Louisiana. In her spare time, Rushawn enjoys golfing, biking and gardening. Most of all, she enjoys spending time with her family and pets, a Min-Pin named Chopper, two cats named Sophie and Chupies and two parakeets.
Registered veterinary technician Melanie joined the Woodland Springs Veterinary Hospital team in May 2009. Working with the friendly staff and caring for pets are just two of the many reasons she loves working here. At home, she enjoys the companionship of her dogs, Gilligan, Freon and Ginger, and cats Sandler and Storm. Her hobbies include camping, archery, crafting and yoga.
Sara has cared for pets as a veterinary technician at Woodland Springs since 2007. She worked as the general manager of Flower Mound Equestrian Center in Flower Mound, Texas for seven years. Sara loves working with people and pets and likes being part of a caring, supportive team that provides high quality health care. When she’s not at the hospital, she can be found spending time with family and friends, especially her two teenage children. Her animal companions include Rudy, a Rat Terrier, Derby, a spoiled Bishon Frise, Shelby, a Chihuahua, and Katy Kitty, a cat. Her hobbies include working out, biking, jet skiing and water skiing and going to her children’s high school activities and games.
Veterinary technician Beth joined the Woodland Springs Veterinary Hospital staff in 2008. She loves working with pets and clients and believes the hospital provides caring, gentle, and high-quality medicine. She most enjoys spending her free time with family, friends and her pets. Her animal companions include dogs Molly and Penny and cats Leo and Marley. When she’s not at work, Beth likes to go to the movies, have a "girl’s day out" with her daughter or just spend a lazy day at home.
Veterinary technician Carlie has been a member of the Woodland Springs team since 2009. She loves meeting new clients and their pets and enjoys helping pets lead long, healthy lives. Carlie can most often be found spending time with her two daughters when she's not at the hospital. She also enjoys reading and collecting books, playing guitar and going for walks with her three dogs, Roscoe, Cricket and Lily Belle. She also shares her home with two cats, Molly and Bobby Socks.
Veterinary technician Cindy has helped care for our pet guests since November 2008. She has worked in the animal care field since 2003. Cindy finds working with animals to be fun and rewarding and enjoys being part of the caring staff at Woodland Springs.
When she's not busy with school and work, Cindy loves going to the movies, bowling, camping and spending time with her husband and child. She also loves hanging out with her dog, Dottie, a yellow Lab/Retriever mix.
