Vaccinations are some of the safest, most reliable, and effective tools available to protect your pet from a host of animal diseases and illnesses. They are not one-time injections that protect your pet indefinitely; they must be kept current in order to keep your pet from catching and spreading various illnesses. According to the most recent scientific research regarding pet vaccinations, the level of immunity for viral vaccines is nearly 100% for three years. Thus, pets should receive vaccinations for most viral diseases every three years.

Preparing them for life
At Woodland Springs Veterinary Hospital, we use the Nobivac Canine 3-DAPv, a USDA approved vaccination for three-year duration-of-immunity against DAP (distemper, adenovirus, parvovirus). We also offer immunizations for bordetella, rabies and leptospirosis. For our feline patients, we offer FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, panleukopenia), FeLV (feline leukemia virus) and rabies vaccinations.
